DAVID Wallinger has become Buxton’s fifth signing for the 2018 campaign as the Hitmen’s transformation continues under new boss Joshua Moss.

Wallinger joins the hitmen on a 5.64 average having spent last season with local rivals Stoke and Wallinger is delighted to be linking up with the Hitmen saying “I am really happy to be joining Buxton for the coming season and looking forward to a new challenge. Josh (Moss) is putting a good side together and I believe we can have a good season this year. On a personal note I came a long way last year and I’m hoping to step it up again this season and I will do my very best for the club and I cannot wait for the season to start.”

Hitmen team manager Moss commented “David is coming into an already strong team that we have started to build and he is certainly a rider that is capable of a lot more than his average suggests and he showed his liking for the Hi-Edge raceway circuit last season where he went unbeaten and this shows me that he can certainly be very strong both home and away for us this year.”
