BUXTON lost out to the Birmingham Brummies’ 60-30 in the National Trophy at Perry Barr last night.

The Hitmen fought hard against the high-flying Brummies’ to score a credible 30-points with Ben Wilson top scoring for the Hi-Edge based side with 11 points with Tom Woolley scoring 8 and guest Ryan Terry-Daley chipping in with 6 points and the trio scored 25 of the 30 points.
Hitmen skipper Tom Woolley commented “It wasn’t going to be easy here they are unbeaten around their home circuit and the younger lads were always going to struggle. We did our best and to be fair we got more points than maybe people were expecting us to get.”
