BUXTON go into Travel Plus National League action against Kent Kings on Sunday afternoon (3pm) at Hi-Edge Raceway.

The Hitmen name the same side that faced Belle Vue on Friday night and continue for use rider replacement for James Cockle.

Kent will be led into action by guest Georgie Wood of Eastbourne who replaces Paul Hurry who is unavailable due to grass track commitments while Hi-Edge track specialist Jon Armstrong replaces Jack Thomas who is riding for his Championship club Glasgow. Nathan Stoneman skippers the Kings side with Andrews Rowe as good back up for the top three having already showed this when riding as a guest for the Hitmen earlier in the season while Taylor Hampshire completes the top five. Jamie Couzins and Alex Spooner complete the Kings line-up.

Team boss Joshua Moss commented “We put up a decent fight at Belle Vue on Friday and if we can produce the same effort around our home track then who knows what can happen. Kent are in good form and proved that last week when they beat Stoke away from home quite comfortably despite having two of their top riders missing so we know the form they are in and will need to get a good start in the early heats in order to get something out of the meeting.
